Workshop on EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)
The Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the technical support of the Swiss Import Promotion Programme (SIPPO), is organizing and inviting companies from the Technical Wood, Natural Ingredients and Value-added Textiles sectors to participate in a free two-day workshop on compliance with the new EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

The workshop will be held on June 17 and 18, 2025, at the Chamber's premises in Sarajevo (Branislava Đurđeva 10), from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
The CSRD Directive came into force in January 2023 with the aim of improving corporate transparency and accountability regarding sustainability. It requires companies to report on their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) impacts. This directive directly affects the B&H economy, especially companies operating or planning to operate in the European Union market. Aligning business operations with high EU sustainability standards can significantly enhance the competitiveness of these companies and facilitate access to international markets.
The workshop is intended for companies that want to ensure compliance with the latest EU sustainability standards, as well as those preparing for reporting in accordance with EU market requirements.
Workshop participants will:
- Gain a detailed understanding of the specifics of the EU CSRD Directive.
- Learn more about the Omnibus package of legal amendments related to sustainable reporting.
- Become familiar with other sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., IFRS S1 and S2).
- Discuss practical examples.
- Participate in an interactive workshop aimed at mapping key challenges and opportunities in their own businesses.
- Learn how to integrate sustainability strategy into their business strategies.
- Prepare a practical sustainability report through case study work.
More information about the workshop program and lecturers is available in the Invitation Letter.
Participation in the workshop is free for employees of companies from the aforementioned sectors who register by Friday, June 13, 2025, at 12:00 PM, by completing the ONLINE APPLICATION FORM.
